Polls close at 8pm on Tuesday, Nov. 3 to conclude a wild and sometimes weird set of contests for leadership positions throughout Monterey County.
The Weekly’s omnipresent columnist Squid had commentary about some of the antics that were documented throughout the cycle.
Staff from the Weekly will be out in the field on Nov. 3 talking with various candidates about their campaigns and the results of the big day.
As results come in from the Monterey County Elections Department, the Weekly will be updating this page periodically throughout the evening. This chart reflects only a handful of the elections happening throughout the county. For full results, visit the County’s election results page. For statewide offices and propositions, visit the California Secretary of State’s results page.
Unless otherwise noted, ballot measures require a simple majority (more than 50 percent of the vote) to pass.
