Asked at: Peninsula Wellness Center in Marina.
CHRIS KATHEY | Barista | Monterey
A: The end of daylight savings time. It means more time to enjoy being cozy.
Root Up: Sweet potatoes, especially when they are seasoned with a little bit of cinnamon.
ZACH UPCHURCH | Student | Fresno
A: The food. It’s an opportunity to practice family traditions.
Olive You: My family’s special Puerto Rican rice. The recipe might be a secret, but the olives make the dish.
JULIE DASHIELL | HR Assistant | San Rafael
A: Spending time with family and friends. It doesn’t happen all that often and the holidays are a great excuse to get together.
Sweet Tooth: I always look forward to the pumpkin pie because it’s sweet, but not too sweet.
