The sun was shining and the beer was flowing at the first Alvarado Street Brewery Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, Sept. 20 on the Colton Hall lawn in Monterey. The event had people doing the chicken dance, participating in a stein-holding contest and tug-a-war challenge.

Oktoberfest-inspired lagerbeiers from over 20 breweries (in addition to ASB) were on tap. Bratwursts and giant pretzels were served up from The Meatery, feeding around 700 people at the sold-out event.
