Going beyond the electronics craze, Black Friday also offers deals on something with a little more personality. Think something furry, feathery or scaly. Maybe something that cuddles.
The SPCA lets adoptees name their price on any small pet four months or older during their Black Friday Adoption Event happening Nov. 28-30. These can include cats, dogs, bearded dragons, parakeets and chickens. Regular adoption fees range from $35-$290.
Pets are ready for adoption 11am-5pm Mon-Fri, or 11am-4pm Sat-Sun. The SPCA also handles spaying and neutering, and vaccines and microchip identification are also included in the adoption fee.
Best of all, an animal in need will receive the gift of a new home for the holidays.
