The Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel in Salinas added renovations to its building including a brand-new gym and new painting inside and outside.
The event was celebrated during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 7 where the community could not only check out the new renovations, but also meet the new management and leadership team added since the end of last year.
Built in May of 2014, the hotel has 105 rooms and is located at 523 Work St., just off Highway 101. Since its opening, Capri Hospitality management has run the hotel; it is now operated by Providence Hospitality Partners from Denver, Colorado.
“With all the renovations and all the work that we've been putting into making sure everything is guest pleasing, I think the hotel definitely stands out in the area as it’s located right off the highway where visitors can stay and it has easy access to other city amenities,” General Manager Michael Graves said.
The ribbon-cutting was an opportunity to share the new revision of the Hampton Inn as a community-centered property.
“In the very short time their new management team has been in place, they have demonstrated their commitment to the Salinas community through partnerships with the Salinas Airshow and the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex,” said Colleen Bailey, president and CEO of the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce. “Their warm hospitality will make just the right impression of Salinas as a great place to visit for work and for play.”
During the ribbon-cutting event, guests enjoyed light refreshments and drinks while networking with local business professionals. Attendees also had the opportunity to take guided tours of the hotel and learn more about the services the Hampton Inn offers to the community.
