Quail Lodge and Edgar’s restaurant reopened in mid-2013 with a new and improved menu including Quail clam chowder, made with manila clams and hardwood double smoked bacon (not the pompadour-sporting bird); grilled hangar steak with fingerling potatoes and Edgar’s signature steak sauce; and Edgar’s famous seasoned-and-seared sand dabs with lemon caper sauce and fresh veggies.

Signature Dish: Edgar’s Famous All-Natural Burger

The vaunted Edgar’s burger remains—with a half-pound grilld Angus beef patty, smoked bacon and cheddar on an artisan chive bun—joined by new flatbreads like the Californian with artichokes and goat cheese, and the Monterey with shrimp and tomato basil pesto.

The restaurant will also be serving lunch, offering up a Quail club sandwich , fried calamari with peppers and sunshine aioli and a loaded Earthbound Farm greens salad with prodigious fixings.
