Hearing the words “roller rink” conjures 1970s flashbacks featuring knee socks and scratchy vinyl blaring over a disco-ball track. The Derby Dames bring a decidedly different deal. Sugar and spice and everything nice? Eff dat. They’re tough-as-nails while still managing to be strangely hot, giving opponents a look that says “Back off me, b*#$%” – all while wearing a mini-skirt that would make grandma do some disowning.
