On Jan. 20, a few thousand people marched through CSUMB to support women's rights during the second annual Women's March on the anniversary of Donald Trump's inauguration.
Jan. 20 also marked the first of three days of a federal government shutdown, which ended Monday.
In Salinas, the Food Bank for Monterey County broke ground for it's new, larger location on West Rossi Street.
