The Monterey County Coroner’s Office is requesting the public’s help in locating the family of 74-year-old David Martinez Guzman, who died on April 29.
“There are no specific areas we are focusing on. We have exhausted the databases that are available to us in helping to locate family,” Sheriff's Office Cmdr. Andres Rosas says. “We are hoping that someone in the community may have information that is not available by other means that could lead us to contact with his family.”
The Monterey County Coroner’s Office was not able to give more details as to where Guzman was last found or his cause of death.
“Out of respect for the family who has not yet been located and notified, we will not release this information at this time. Once next of kin is located and notified, we may release additional details,” Rosas adds.
