Follow-up: What art form do you wish you could be better at?
Asked on Ocean Avenue in Carmel.
GINGER ESSIC | Retired | Pebble Beach
A: Gardening and making stationery. I like taking a handful of seeds and watching them grow into many different things.
Blank Slate: I would love to learn how to paint. I’ve tried before, (but) haven’t ever felt comfortable with the end product.
HEATHER HUYNH | Occupational Therapist | Calgary, Canada
A: I play the piano and the viola. On the weekends, I get to explore my creativity.
Paint Me: I would like to improve at painting. I’ve never had the time, but it seems like a nice form of relaxation.
ALEXI HUGHES | Massage Therapist | Bass Lake, California
A: Massage is my career as well as my creative outlet, because I feel like I can tailor the experience for each client.
Tune In: I’d like to learn how to do acupuncture with tuning forks.
