Charlie Garcia holds a photograph of his brother Anthony Garcia, along with a pin of his sister Dorothea Togo Togo, outside his home in Salinas. Garcia died of Covid-19 in January of 2021 and Togo Togo died of other causes in 2017. The Weekly told the stories of some of the now 643 residents who died from Covid-19 in a collection of obituaries.
