Old Fisherman’s Wharf is classic.

It’s one of the first stops during a stay in Monterey for new visitors and leaves tourists with a plethora of pictures of barking Sea Lions and stunning coastal views.

A meal made can be made of clam chowder samples and a variety of fresh seafood can be purchased on nearby Wharf II where many people fish for mackerel.

The current issue of the Weekly also looks into the complicated subject of wharf leases.
