Kirkland Signature Real Sliced Fruit

Remember, always eat your vegetables and fruit. Except this fruit. Don't eat this fruit. 

A recall has been issued for Kirkland Signature Real Sliced Fruit, a freeze dried snack sold at Costco stores, because it my be contaminated with salmonella, according to a statement from the Monterey County Health Department.  

The fruit snack made by Oregon Freeze Dry is sold in a red and white case that contain 20 pouches. The recall is for packages labeled with best before dates from Feb. 14, 2015 to March 11, 2014. 

The dates are on the upper left corner on the front panel of the case, the statement says.

So far there have been no illness reported in association with the recall.

Symptoms of salmonella poisoning include diarrhea, fever, vomiting and abdominal pain.
