The Wells Fargo bank inside the Del Rey Oaks Safeway grocery store was robbed this afternoon, police say.
Just after 3:30pm, a man handed a note to a female teller asking for an undisclosed amount of money. Dey Rey Oaks Police Chief Ron Langford says it is unknown if the suspect was armed.
The suspect then ran from the store in an unknown direction. Langford says police are reviewing surveillance video footage to help identify the suspect.
No injuries were reported, but American Medical Response arrived to help treat a bank worker who was hyperventilating.
