Previously unreleased performances from Grateful Dead and Laura Nyro at the historic 1967 Monterey International Pop Festival are featured on a new album that was released on June 9 in anticipation of the 50th-anniversary Pop Fest that kicks off Friday

Titled “Iconic Performances From The Monterey International Pop Festival," the album also includes a new essay by journalist Keith Altham, who attended the festival in 1967, a reproduction of the original festival artist pass and a 16-page booklet of photos and notes.
