Julie Capili recently did a great service for Pacific Grove, aka America's Last Hometown and Butterfly Town.
Well, she had a little help.
Sponsored by the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce and produced by House of Eight Media Production, the singer-songwriter's new song "The Butterfly Town" and accompanying video both reminds Pagrovians not to take their majestic home for granted, while enticing vacationers to visit.
The sunny folk tune is full of bright tones, a hefty dose of mandolin (courtesy of Dave Holodiloff) and a video featuring several faces familiar to locals along with the imagery of all the amazing qualities unique to P.G.
The beautiful butterflies, Lovers Point at sunset, P.G.'s trademark rainbow-colored Victorian homes lining downtown, a first grade class marching in the annual parade to welcome the monarchs and the loving community.
