Chris Isaak comes to Carmel.
Tickets go on sale: 9:30am Friday, Oct. 17.

Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" may be the sexiest song ever written—the singer-songwriter's yodel-like croons sound like a lone wolf howling at a yellow moon. Isaak's Elvis throwback persona, perma-pompadour hairdo and rockabilly style is hardly kitsch; it all adds up to a giant dose of cool.

The tune also became David Lynch's main song on the soundtrack to his sexiest film, Wild at Heart (Lynch also used Isaak's "Gone Ridin'" and "Livin' for Your Lover" on his previous film, Blue Velvet).

That sexiness comes to Carmel's Sunset Center on Nov. 29.

Lynch isn't the only Academy Award-winning filmmaker to paint reoccurring motif's in a film's soundtrack using Isaak's music: Stanley Kubrick predominately features the rockabilly ditty "Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing" in his final work, Eyes Wide Shut. Check out the video below for a few good cheap thrills.

In addition to his more than a dozen full-length records, Isaak has also scored roles in a number of notable movies, including Lynch's Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me..., John Waters' A Dirty Shame and The Silence of the Lambs.

See you at the show.
