As the tobiko really started to fly, and Hawaiian-style raw fish bowls began to proliferate, the question was inevitable: How much poke can the Monterey market bear?

The answer: We're not there yet.

Cannery Row Poke House (747-2581) is the latest to open, debuting last weekend.

Hours are 10:30am-8:30pm daily (though it will be closed Tuesdays through the end of the month).

Aquamarine walls welcome diners into the clean and strategically located spot at 601 Wave St. across from Cannery Row Brewing Company, in what used to be a crepe shop.

The menu is the same as the original Marina Poke House outpost, with unique nacho options on poke and prices bumped up a quarter ($9.75 for a regular bowl with three scoops of fish).

Another bump: He has kicked yellowtail off the menu as he ups his sustainability in hopes of applying for a Seafood Watch partnership with his new Cannery Row neighbors at Monterey Bay Aquarium.
