AT&T Pro Am

Already the longest-running title sponsorship on the PGA Tour, AT&T signed an agreement to extend its association with the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The deal was officially announced Wednesday, June 18 in a joint statement from AT&T, the PGA Tour, the Monterey Peninsula Foundation and Pebble Beach Company. The foundation organizes the annual tournament, which serves as a fundraiser for area nonprofits.

AT&T has sponsored the Pro-Am each year since 1986. Prior to that year, the event was known as the Bing Crosby National Pro-Am—or, colloquially, as the Crosby Clambake.

“Golf and giving are central to the Monterey Peninsula Foundation’s mission,” said MPF CEO Steve John in a press statement. “We’re deeply grateful to AT&T for their ongoing commitment and support, which drive our ability to give back.”

The foundation donates to over 200 nonprofits in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties. Last year MPF distributed almost $18 million to charities through the Pro-Am and other tournaments it operates.

According to the announcement, AT&T agreed to a “multi-year” sponsorship. No other details were made public.

The Pro-Am is a signature event on the tour with a purse of $20 million, attracting the world’s top golfers. It is scheduled for Feb. 12-15, 2026. Rory McIlroy won the 2025 tournament by 2 strokes over Shane Lowry.

The 2026 edition will mark the 80th playing of the Pro-Am.
