Car Week’s slow rollout continues today—Monday, Aug. 11—with two events, one of which will have an extended impact on traffic flow.
The City of Seaside plans to close a portion of the 1700 block of Del Monte Boulevard from 12:30-9pm for the Porsche Monterey Classic car show. The affected area will be from the Graniterock building at 1755 Del Monte Blvd. to the intersection of Tioga Avenue. Alternate routes for through traffic include Fremont Boulevard in Seaside and California Avenue in Sand City.
The show takes place from 4-8pm at the Porsche dealership, located at 1781 Del Monte.
There are no road closures associated with Monterey British, held at Carmel Valley Community Park on Ford Road from 1-4pm.
