LIFE SAVERS
This symposium invites the public to a discussion about drug-related overdoses, and provides tips on how to protect youth from addiction and potential overdoses. Speakers include physicians Reb Close and Casey Grover from the Prescribe Safe initiative; King City Police Chief Keith Boyd; Monterey County Probation Department Assistant Chief Jose Ramirez; and more.

For Overdose Awareness Day, Montage Health and community partners offer resources connected to preventing and recovering from addiction, and life-saving measures in the event of an overdose. Narcan, an FDA-approved naloxone medication that can reverse the effects of an overdose, will be distributed for free; on box per attendee.
