Smalley's Roundup, which has been serving BBQ in Salinas for 35 years, will have a grand opening for its new location on Jan. 26. Smalley's new spot is 1190 South Main St., former home of Baker's Square.
S.O. Smalley started the restaurant in 1975 after retiring from the construction industry. The restaurant has won numerous awards, including the Best BBQ restaurant in the Weekly's 2003 Best Of issue.
