Assemblywoman Anna Caballero and Rep. Sam Farr will meet with county and city law enforcement department heads tomorrow at Salinas City Hall to identify resources to tackle the city’s gangs.
According to Caballero spokeswoman Angela Mapp, the meeting will be closed to the public and will include Sheriff Mike Kanalakis, interim Police Chief Dan Ortega, Mayor Dennis Donohue and Monterey County District Attorney Dean Flippo, among other officials.
“The purpose of the meeting is to get everyone around the table to get as much information as possible…and to identify resources that are available from all of these different agencies and jurisdictions,” Mapp says.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
