The exhibit titled Moments in My Life showcases paintings by r. mike nichols and portrays the small yet significant moments of daily life that are relatable to many of us. These moments include celebrating a milestone birthday, sitting on a park bench and much more. Nichols is primarily a transparent watercolorist; he also paints with acrylics. The exhibit is now on display at ArtWorks @Salinas, a studio and gallery space managed by the Arts Council for Monterey County to create affordable studios for artists, and a gallery space to exhibit local work for the community to enjoy at no cost. Upcoming receptions take place on First Fridays, at 5pm May 3 and June 7.
