From New York’s JD and the Straight Shots’ original brand of contemporary blues to popular local blues cover outfit Rollin’ and Tumblin,’ Sly’s can truly do blues. Additionally, the Cannery Row institution has welcomed and continues to welcome a hefty share of rock bands—even on slow nights, rock, R&B and blues bands play like they enjoy a mini-Madison Square Garden. This is a formula that adds up to a lively dance floor vibrating seven days per week.
