Two Soledad men were arrested Monday, July 27 for reportedly being in possession of cocaine and a loaded firearm.
The Soledad Police Department, with help from the Monterey County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Crisis Response Teams, completed three residential search warrants in Soledad and King City on the 62000 block of Argyle Road on the early morning of July 27, as part of an ongoing investigation into violent criminal activity.
During the search warrants, officers located and seized more than one kilogram of suspected cocaine, a loaded firearm and additional evidence, according to Soledad Police.
The two men were arrested on charges related to narcotics, firearms and gang enhancements and booked into the Monterey County Jail, according to a statement by the Soledad Police Department.
The Soledad Police Department did not respond for comment as of press time.
