Asked at Yogurtland in Salinas.
Follow-up: What kind of car did you drive in high school?
DAVID VERA | Manager | Salinas
A: Cheating on my algebra test. I wrote most of my answers on my ankle. I got a 98 and an award.
Hot Wheels: 1988 Mustang 5.0. It was hot. Everyone thought I was the man.
MONSE ZEPEDA | Assistant Manager | Salinas
A: A lot of people used to make fun of my accent. I’m from Guadalajara.
Massage Mobile: A Honda Accord with chipped black paint. It made a really, really weird noise. The car would shake when I started it. It was like getting a massage.
ALBERT LOPEZ | Truck driver | Gonzales
A: Partied too much. It was the ’70s.
Far Out: 1969 Plymouth Valiant. Transmission push button for park, reverse, drive, neutral. It was ahead of its time.
