A: I planted trees in Fort Ord [when] they were trying to restore the area.

Rebel heart: Don’t cave in to parental peer pressure, especially if you’re not comfortable with doing something.

A: I volunteer at the [community] center. I teach bridge, or help somebody out by carrying things for them.

Price Tag: To save more money. I never realized how expensive things could get.

A: I went to Dorothy’s Kitchen and helped feed the homeless. It felt really intimate because of the direct contact with them. I really felt like I made a difference.
