A: In The Broom of the System (by David Foster Wallace), there’s a story about how the attention you give your anxieties is valuable. It helped me be more accepting of myself.

Open Access: I really like e-books because they are so accessible for so many authors.

A: I get books that help me advance my career. Medical procedural books helped me better my care for patients.

Easier reading: I prefer hardback books. It’s difficult for me to read on the screen.

A: Books opened up my imagination. I read all kinds of genres.

Childhood memories: I like paper books. I grew up with them, so they’re familiar.
