Camp SEA Lab Day and Overnight Camps

Camp SEA Lab offers kids ages 8-11 day camp and ages 10-13 residential camps, each uniquely tailored to the wonders of the marine environment. Chamisal Tennis Club Camps

Kids ages 3-12 can each find their own home on the range in the rolling hills of this working ranch. There’s a camp to teach a new generation of farmers how to tend to animals, and a pony camp for horse lovers. Kayak Camp

Molera Horseback Tours

Monterey Bay Aquarium Camps

The Aquarium offers several supplemental summer programs in lieu of full-on day camps. The Underwater Explorers program will give an introduction to surface scuba techniques in the Aquarium’s Great Tide Pool. Ages 8-13 only. No experience necessary. Also available are Summer Nights Sleepovers, where kids can explore the Aquarium after hours and sleep next to their favorite exhibits.

Monterey Bay Charter School Summer Adventure Day Camp

Children ages 6 to 13 will have their heads, hearts, and hands engaged at this adventure camp. With a different multicultural theme each week, the wooded grounds of the Monterey Bay Charter School will be transformed into the Himalayas, Hawaii, Ancient Greece and more. Monterey Bay Youth Football League

Monterey Jazz Festival Summer Jazz Camp

It’s summertime, and the livin’ is easy if you immerse yourself in this two-week intensive jazz course. Playing to the tune of young musicians ages 12-18, the camp will help jazz students build on their existing music skills and knowledge. Preparatory classes on playing in large bands and small ensembles, vocal performance lessons, instrumentation classes and daily workshops on different music subjects. Monterey Parks holds a diverse series of camps throughout the summer, covering such interest areas as nature, backcountry camping, geology, disc golf, horseback riding and kayaking. Northern California Flute Camp

At the one week intensive residential camp at Hidden Valley Institute for the Performing Arts, flowering flutists will face a curriculum that thoroughly examines many aspects of flute performance. Ragamuffin Musical Theater Summer Day Camp

From start to finish, in one month, the kids of Ragamuffin Musical Theater Camp produce a play, with the end-goal being a weekend of polished performances. This year, campers will present Disney’s My Son, Pinocchio, Jr., a hilarious journey through a fractured version of the classic fairytale.

Sam’z School of Music

Sam’z School of Music launches another season of guitar-playing, keyboard-banging, drum-pounding fun. Teamwork is emphasized at the weeklong day camps, because kids learn to play as a member of a rock band. Each summer sessions ends with a live performance at Washington Middle School.

Summer means swimming, and there’s no better place for kids to hit the pool than the Salinas Aquatic Center. Water City Roller Hockey
