A new business just opened in Prunedale. Cali Love 101 is part boutique cannabis dispensary and part art gallery, and is designed to feel more like a creative experience than a retail store. Sharon West is the artist currently featured in the space. The walls are filled with her paintings, created with a thick palette knife and inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Grove and Big Sur coastlines. These works, called a Cali Love Collection, were created specifically for this location. “It is my tribute to the breathtaking beauty of California’s Central Coast, a region that captured my heart with its wild cliffs, crashing waves and peaceful hidden paths,” the artist wrote. The dispensary/gallery is located at 1031 El Camino Real, Salinas. The hours are 10am-8pm daily.
