Meredith Mullins

The gallery at Del Mesa Carmel presents two photo exhibits in dialogue with one another. The first one is Paris: En Dehors du Temps by Meredith Mullins, a collection of black-and-white photos of Paris. The title of the exhibit translates to Outside of Time. “I use early photographic techniques that help to ask the question: Is this the past or the present… or both?” she wrote. “Are we floating in and out of time?” Mullins is exhibiting with photographer Jacqui Turner, whose exhibit Holding On focuses on objects that have been held as treasures—things that we keep because of the stories we have lived. An opening reception and the authors talk takes place at 4pm Saturday, July 19. Regular gallery hours are 11am-8pm Wednesday-Sunday. The address is 500 Del Mesa Drive, Carmel. On display until Aug. 26.
