Among new exhibits at the Pacific Grove Art Center is Art Fusion, an exhibit by Painters and Poets, a group featuring Jevin Lee Albuquerque, Tonni Lynn Albuquerque and Katieann Vogel. The members of the group are poets that happen to also be visual artists. The exhibition includes narrative, abstract and pastel paintings. Themes include the ocean, nature, jazz and other intersections of expression. The California coast, storytelling and the history of art and literature have long served as inspiration for the group. Above is a piece by Jevin Lee Albuquerque. The gallery is located at 568 Lighthouse Ave. in Pacific Grove, and is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from noon- 5pm and Sundays from noon-4pm. The exhibit is on display until Oct. 30.
