Three out of four exhibits of the Winter 2026 season at the Monterey Museum of Art are already on display. One of them is Landscape ReEnvisioned, a show prepared by independent curator Helaine Glick. The exhibit focuses on landscape photography driven by experimental techniques. One of the highlighted artists is Debra Achen, who manipulates photos to show the breaks in ecosystems, but also the possibilities to mend them (such as the stitching together, shown above). Other featured artists are Tony Bellaver, Adrienne Defendi, Charlotte Schmid-Maybach, Brian Taylor and Vincent James Waring. On display until April 26. 559 Pacific St., Monterey. Open 11am-5pm Thursday to Sunday.
