According to The Ten Tenors’ producer, D-J Wendt, when audiences come to their shows, they hear arias and classical pieces that “give them goose bumps like they have never felt before.” But the group also make you feel like you have just “rocked out or been to the best party you have been to in ages.” That’s a potent 1-2.

The group has racked up six platinum and gold records and more than 3.5 million concert tickets sold, collaborating with the likes of Andrea Bocelli, André Rieu, Geoffrey Rush, Keith Urban, Rod Stewart, Alanis Morissette, Sarah Brightman, Willie Nelson, Katherine Jenkins and Christina Aguilera.

Here are five more reasons why you should dig what Joseph Naim, Paul Gelsumini, Robert Barbaro, Sebastian Maclaine, Scott Muller, Cameron Barclay, Ben Stephens, Keane Fletcher, Jared Newall and Lucas Gelsumini do:

1. The group donates all proceeds from their new record Our Christmas Wish to the Children’s Hospital Foundation. They have a $1-million goal.

2. The Tenors’ versatile repertoire includes material from everyone from classical tenor great Bocelli to the Bee Gees to The Beatles.

3. The outfit’s rendition of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” was chosen by the San Francisco Chronicle as one of the top 10 best versions of the song last October in a special feature celebrating the 40th anniversary of the epic rock tune.

4. The Tenors’ show also includes some pretty spectacular choreography. Last year, during the group’s performance of a Jersey Boys medley, member Jared Newall ripped his tuxedo pants in an “unfortunate area” during an acrobatic jumping “maneuver.”

5. Since forming in 1995, The Tenors have toured with a Grateful Dead-like endurance, performing, on average, around 250 shows every year that usually spans over a 10-month period.
