The Temples

Holly and Ashlee Temple, the artist collaboration known as the Temple Sisters, opened their new gallery space, Temple Garage, 512 Ortiz St., Unit 5, Sand City. The inaugural show is a six-decade retrospective of storied California artist Brook Temple, the Temple Sisters’ father. It will run through July 26. Brook Temple is a figurative and abstract painter who works in a number of mediums, including large works on canvas and smaller works on paper. This retrospective will highlight the dramatic evolution of his work from the 1950s to the present.
