This year, the West End Celebration (Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 24-25) welcomes an impressive array of artisans and vendors in Sand City who will showcase their unique creations, ranging from fine art and handmade crafts to innovative designs and culinary delights. Among the artist presenters are resident galleries, including The Temple Garage (512 Ortiz Ave., #5), home to the Temple Sisters, who feature their own interdisciplinary work as well as that of others. Other artists showing are: Candace Feldman of Ray of Light (jewelry), Jim Yates (woodworking), Kristi Peterson (acrylic paintings), Family Hess Art Squad (marine science illustrations) and Monterey Museum of Art.
