Raven Cook is one of three artists presenting within a collaborative art show, Fragmented Being, now on display at the Pacific Grove Art Center. Her work appears next to Iphigenia Wilder and Luke Metcalfe – artists are affiliated with Youth Arts Collective (YAC) in Monterey, where Cook serves as studios assistant. The exhibit comprises a handful of interactive pieces. “One is a 6-foot-tall interactive ‘exquisite corpse’ that we’ve built out of wood and has a surprise musical element on the inside,” Cook shares on behalf of the group. “This group show reflects how memories distort who we are.” Opening reception: 6-8pm Friday, Nov. 6. 568 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove. Noon-5pm Wednesdays-Saturdays; 1-4pm Sundays. On display until Dec. 10.
