That’s the title of an exhibit that will be on display at the Monterey Regional Airport until the end of the year. Whether you’re departing or arriving, spend a few minutes at the mezzanine admiring Monterey County’s film legacy. The exhibit is part of the Art at the Airport series. “We are thrilled to partner with the Monterey Regional Airport to share the magic of Monterey’s film legacy with travelers from around the world,” wrote Garland Thompson, Jr., president of the Monterey County Film Commission’s board of directors. “This exhibit offers visitors a ‘reel stroll’ through the region’s cinematic history, providing a glimpse into why so many filmmakers have chosen Monterey County as their backdrop.” The exhibit features behind-the-scenes stories, memorabilia and historical highlights from classic Hollywood films to modern streaming hits filmed in the area.
