Gallery Sur in Carmel, 6th between Dolores and Lincoln, presents works of Carmel photographer Gary Geiger in an exhibit titled On The Road Again. The collection showcases his photography from Mexico, Cuba, Indonesia, Morocco, India and beyond. “I consider myself a street photographer,” Geiger wrote in an artist statement. “Each day is a new journey down a narrow, winding street or up a steep hill, remaining open to whatever lies ahead, always looking for that one image that will stand out from all the rest. Each culture has its own story to tell, and every language shapes how color and composition are interpreted.” The artist reception is 4-7pm Saturday, July 12. The gallery is open daily 11am-6pm.
