The above piece, “Dragonfly” by Carol Silveira, comes from an annual Tiny Treasures exhibit and fundraiser at the Pacific Grove Art Center, at 568 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove (open noon-5pm Wednesday-Saturday; 1-4pm Sundays). Every year, artists from the community contribute unique miniature artwork for this fundraiser, one of the main sources of income for PGAC. Over 100 pieces of art are available in the following media—oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, printmaking, collage, pencil, ink, mixed media, photography, sculpture, textile, stained glass and more. The pieces are no larger than 8-by-10 inches, including the frame. Visit the gallery and buy one of these reasonably priced mini treasures.
