The Gallery at Del Mesa in Carmel has a new colorful art exhibit. Three local artists display photographs, monotypes and constructed mosaic pieces. A Trilogy of Techniques features Dixie Dixon (showing stunning, one-of-a-kind hand-colored photographs), Bonnie Pond (mosaics made with either glass or ceramic materials – an example is shown above) and Gloria Shaw (monotypes with a blend of printmaking and textural influences). It is on display until Oct. 5 at 500 Del Mesa Drive, Carmel. Gallery hours are Wednesdays through Sundays from 11am-8pm. Upon arrival, inform the gate attendant that you are there to see the exhibit.
