Salinas Valley Art Gallery is celebrating photographer Bill Myers as the featured artist for the month of November. Myers runs Fall River Photo company, over the last seven decades pursuing not only commercial photography but also capturing the communities of the Central Coast. Myers has numerous works in local and California offices (such as Bridge Hospice of the Central Coast or Mayers Memorial Hospital) and several local restaurants. His images have appeared in international publications, national and regional magazines and regional and local newspapers. The opening reception of his exhibit takes place 5-8pm on Friday, Nov. 7. The gallery is located at 218 Main St., Salinas. Regular hours are 10am-6pm (closed on Wednesdays). On display through Nov. 28. [AP]
