Amber Kane is a senior at Monterey High School Art, Media and Performance Academy, a small school within a school where visual media and performing arts training takes place. Along with fellow student Logan Marchese, she has her photography on display at Small Halls of the Pacific Grove Art Center in a show titled Through Our Lens. Kane pictures “what it feels like to be a teenager today,” she said. She shares intimate photos of close friends doing things they love. Marchese captures a fantasy world that he meticulously creates using miniature figurines and life-like world environments. On display through Feb. 26. PGAC is located at 568 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove. Hours are noon-5pm Wednesday-Saturday; 1-4pm on Sundays.
