Alvarado Street Brewery yet again is the ringmaster of breweries in Monterey County – and beyond. Their tour has expanded from their opening act in downtown Monterey to the Carmel Bistro and the Oldtown Salinas Taproom, but the brewery also garners a national audience. Drop in for a Mai Tai IPA, a Monterey Beer, the Howzit Punch or whatever is new on the ever-rotating menu. The show’s never over, even after closing – their beers can be found everywhere across the state, making them a giant in the beer scene.
