Revival meetings often gather under circus-style tents. The performance of the minister is as much entertainment as salvation. Instead, locals have lauded Father Peter Crivello for keeping faith alive in the Central Coast region by focusing on salvation and engagement rather than purely entertaining frills. A Monterey native, Father Peter studied at Monterey Peninsula College and worked for the Social Security Administration before he was ordained into the priesthood in 1993.
