In 1900 and struck with gold rush fever, Ed Jesson ditched caribou hunting near Dawson City, Canada, and bought himself a bicycle, and rode it hundreds of miles down the frozen Yukon River en route to Nome, Alaska. More than a century later, cycling has become much more than a form of transportation – it’s recreation, exercise and a way to build community. The latter is what makes Fuel Cycling so beloved, eschewing the soullessness of corporate gyms and bringing people together with a shared passion for cycling, people and playlists that make you push yourself and your pedals.
