There’s something somehow romantic about the history of Wells Fargo, which Henry Wells and William G. Fargo founded in San Francisco in 1852. Maybe it’s because it was the Gold Rush era. Or maybe it’s the stagecoaches, which the company used to move money from its founding into the 1910s. But locals probably love it for more practical reasons, like its wealth of locations in much of the county, where one is never far away, making it easy to get cash, deposit cash or complete other transactions.
