And Cal Stamenov is stoked to give Carmel-by-the-Sea a show it’s never seen. “There’s no resting on any laurels of any sort,” he says. “I’m shooting for a Michelin star.” Here’s hoping – and betting – this star shows he deserves his own star quite soon.
