In the old days, party conventions determined who would run for office. Delegates would cast their votes and it often took more than one ballot to come to a decision. That’s not the case with Bernardus’ line of Chardonnays. The winery puts them on the podium, the delegates cheer and the votes tally: 92 points from Robert Parker, 90 points from Wine Enthusiast, gold from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. And this is coming from the pundits. Guess the public feels the same way.
